Untold History : Johore State Coat of Arms - From Flower to Star
Unknown to us, they were 3 original version of Johore State Emblem
1st VERSION OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN COAT-OF-ARM JOHORE
The 1st version, dated back in 1858 were the "Oval Shield" with a cresent and star, surrounded by a bordue with Motto and Royal Crowned.
BUT, They were no tiger-supporters supporting the Arms.
The remnant of which the 1st original version could be seen clearly here .. at the arch entrance of abandoned Palace called Istana Bukit Zaharah :
2nd VERSION OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN COAT-OF-ARM JOHORE
2nd Version were dated back in 1888 when numbers of 'state' division was augmented to 3 district, by adding Batu Pahat. 3 District were represented by 3 asterisks of five-leaved-flowers, or Bunga Cengkih.. commodity of Johore.
3rd VERSION OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN COAT-OF-ARM JOHORE
On 1892, the last and actual version we known today were includes Segamat, which then represented by 4 Stars in each corner of Royal Coat of Arm = 5 pointed star.
This final version were located at Johore Railway Station, built in 1909
While this 'strange' version or Coat-of-Arm can be found at Bangunan Ibrahim, circa 1920's with "Chocolate" color background.
