Untold History : Konnection of Hunt & Roskell and Albert Baker

t was in 1851 - 1865 (?) is the year that Sultan Abu Bakar obtained the infamous"Lord Allenborough Gold Diners Sets"

This 'kollection' was recorded in UK sometime in 1851.. and by 1855, it was reported seen in Istana Besar Johor.  He must've been obtained it between 1851 - 1865.. BUT... ........................................

PLAUSIBLE FACTS

This Golden Diner sets was used semasa pembukaan Istana Besar in 1866... BUT.. dia cume pergi ke UK pada tahun 1866.

From whom and when did he get those golds kollection??????

Mulenye, aku ingat Albert Baker cume dapat dozens of Gold Plate dinner termasuk sudu dan garpu.. but, recent discovery from Johor Royal Court and Hunt & Roskell showed that... the 'collection' comprised several other items for 'table dressing'...





- Head table from gold and silver
- Candle stand from gold and silver
- and several items.. tak tau ape term yg digunapakai...

OTHER LOST TREASURE

But,... kemungkinan besar.. bukan itu saje yg didapat oleh HH Albert Baker.. several other items yg termasuk sekali dalam directory "Lord Allenborough Diner Sets" termasuk... 

- 1 bronze sculpture carved by Elkington.. similar sculptor yg buat patung bogel cupid marble di kolam Istana Besar.. dlu ade patung cupid bogel sini.. sekarang dah takde. 

- Lampu dari perak dan emas dari Vittoz... tapi masih tak dapat dibuktikan lampu ni ke tak.. last recorded kewujudan "lampu emas" adalah di Istana Tyersall..
