Portuguese bina.. then, strenghten by Dutch.. but later, bombarded by British.  This one.. surveyed in end of 1700's berdasarkan  description yg di bagitau oleh Abdullah Munshi.





Pada peta lama.. ade 2 layer benteng pada kota disebelah Darat : sebab, over 300 years, orang2 Melayu selalu serang melalui darat.. few hundred attempts, yg last.. Raja Haji yg mati di pintu kota dan dikebumikan di kandang babi dibelakang bukit St Paul.






... sebab tu Portuguese kene buat benteng 2 lapis disebelah darat.

Dulu2... ade 4 gate.  While, main gate, terletak bertentangan dengan jembatan... 32ft height, and breastplated dgn besi dan tembaga.  Sudah diletupkan. and padant Merdeka sekarang itu kawasan laut...

1802 THE BEGINNING

British form 1 regiment diberi name "Malay Regiment" di Ceylon.. consist, numbers of Malay and local singhalese.










Pada tahun itu jugak.. some record menyatakan Sultan Kedah ade menghantar beberapa ratus orang ke Trincomalee utk diserap ke "Malay Regiment"... and few others from Perak, Melaka dan Singapore (?) 






- "Singapore" belum wujud lagi waktu ni sebab Raffles belum datang... meaning also, orang2 Temenggung Abd. Rahman yg mengetuai perlalunan berleluasa di Selat Melaka..also meaning, British employing pirates in their regiment..

While, Sultan Kedah maybe supply orang2 melayu yg revolt against British semasa pendudukan Penang pada 1786.


1803 THE WAR

Pada tahun ni.... Raja Ceylon, Vikrama Rajasinghe memberontak melawan British.

 

Inside, dalam pentadbiran Vikrama... ade satu lagi "Malay Regiment" yang diketuai oleh orang Bugis bername"Sangunglo Padikara Peruwa" yg mengetuai 400 askar Melayu/Bugis dalam istana Vikrama.. some account says that dorang ni adik beradik.. but.. it might not be the case klu dikirekan British punye "Malay Regiment" diambil dari Kedah.





GADUH LAGI



"Malay Regiment" British pulak diketuai 2 orang.. satu nye dari "Rifle Regiments" yg bername En. Saifuddin dan En. Nuruddin..

"Malay Regiment" Vikrama pulak diketuai oleh En. Sangunglo Padikara Peruwa.

Dorang pun berperang.

1st Round.. askar2 Vikarama kalah bile En. Sangunglo mati.. thus, balance 400 Malay Regiment dalam kerajaan Vikrama going for guerrilla tactic.




2nd Round... Komander British Malay Regiment.. Major John Davie (Davvy Jones?) ditangkap.... bersame2 En. Nuruddin dan En. Saifuddin.. 

 

Major John Davvie dikurung.. while... En. Nuruddin dan Encik Saifuddin diseksa kerana enggan melutut dihadapan Raja Vikrama..

Melihat kekentalan hati budak2 ni... En. Vikrama menghukum bunuh kedua2nya... dan... mayatnye di beri makan BABI HUTAN...




ENRAGES

British's Malay Regiment :

Major John Davvie mati dalam tahanan Vikrama... pengganti Governor British di Ceylon.. pada 1805 amat anti kepada Melayu.. dia cuba disband "Malay Regiment" tetapi gagal... TETAPI.. dia berjaya menghantar 300 orang penduduk Melayu ke negeri asai ; on which, dorang tak balik Kedah/Perak/Singapore.. but wandering the open sea jadik lanun sepanjang hayat..






Pada 1807... Malay Regiment ini berjaya disbanded kan... seorang komander "Malay Regiment" ni.. berdarah Caucassian.. bername Captain Willian O'deen pernah dilapurkan dibuang ke Australia kerana aktiviti melanun...ramai yang lari jadi kelasi kapal dan lanun.. Seterusnya.. hanya separuh dihantar ke Pulau Jawa dan berkhidmat disana.


Vikrama's Malay Regiment :

Selepas menghukum En. Saifuddin dan En. Nuruddin.. Raja Vikrama menjadi paranoia..



Ramai askar2 Melayu dlm istana dia memberontak.. 

Pada tahun 1815... askar2 Melayu dalam istana Vikrama abandon their post dan join bekas2 Malay Regiment British yg dulu musuh dorang.... 

Thus, the curse continue...

Untold History : Lost Treasure of HRH Sir Albert Baker III

Albert Memorial is one of the amazing feats in Victorian building.  It towering 176 ft height and tooks 10 years to complete.

In 1887, Sultan of Johore, HRH Sir Albert Baker was ordered to cast him this memorial into Gold and Silver.  It was presented to Queen Victoria during her Golden Jubilee at cost of.... surely few hundred million pounds worth of today's value...

Untold History : The Lost Tartan of Johore

When HH Abu Bakar of Johore visited Queen Victoria in Balmoral Castle sometimes in 1880...

HH Albert Baker was awarded with Tartan Scottish.. = with special design REGISTERED under his name by Queen Victoria.

This is trademark for HH Abu BAkar and all his descendant... similarly Scottish Clan of Clan McLeod, McKenzie etc. di Scotland..  each of them has distinctive own Tartan... but.. this time... not a Scottish.. but Malay Sultan.

IN 1930

Again.. his eldest son. Sultan HH Major Ibrahim awarded the same Tartan, but with different designed = for his infamous Regiment of Johore Military Force.

Sultan Ibrahim was awarded Tartan no. 260.. = REGISTERED for him and his JMF  thus named  "Tartan Johore Regiment" afterward.

But pity... non of these Tartan was used by Johor Royalty.. let alone their infamous Regiment.

Untold History : Krown of Johor, JW Benson Vs Garard The Royal Jeweller

This is the works of JW Benson.. a watchmaker.. not a jeweller.. from London in 1885


It was inlaid with Diamonds, and other precious stones.. origin of those diamond is unknown, but.. some says from Brazil and Africa, some says it came down from Lord Allenborough, the owner of the cursed gold dining set owned by HH Albert Baker OR.. the famous legends said, it comes direct from the treasure of "Kota Perbendaharaan Permata" by orang asli sometimes in 1880's.. 



J.W Benson

Renown watchmaker amongst the British and Russian Aristocrat... worths million now in antiquity market... and one of his remarkable work still standing at Teluk Anson's Leaning Tower at Perak

How they influenced HH Albert Baker to make them made a Crown??? unknown..... The Johore State Crown is the only 1 crown made by J.W Benson.

J.W Benson Vs. Royal Jeweller Gerard




The famous jeweller sought after by British, Russian, France aristocrat... and HH Albert Baker

He also made the Crown of Queen Victoria from Koh-I-Noor's diamond, which is known to have bloody curse

He is known to design, and made all the diamond jewelery for Sultanah Johor from the time of HH Albert Baker to the time of HH Ibrahim in 1960.

and he also made all the Johor State's Medallion from gold and silver inlaid with beautiful enamel.. from 1885 to 1960's

BUT,

He is not giving opportunity to made the Crown State of Johor...
